Idun Industrier AB (publ) has today acquired 80 percent of the shares in Trikåby AB, Sweden’s leading manufacturer of technical knitted fabrics and jersey materials. Since the early 1990s, Trikåby has built a market-leading position through deep and broad expertise in fibers, materials and manufacturing methods, and today operates Sweden’s largest circular knitting facility. The company’s products are used, among other applications, in certified protective garments for hazardous environments, helping to prevent personal injury caused by, for example, extreme heat, electric arc flashes or chemicals.

Idun Industrier AB (publ), through Eugen Wiberger AB (“Wiberger”), has today acquired 100% of the shares in MEAB Stainless AB (“MEAB”). MEAB holds a strong position in the Swedish market for stainless acid-resistant fasteners. The company generates annual sales of just over SEK 30 million with solid profitability.

Idun’s net sales increased by 4.5% (-2.2% organic), and EBITA rose by 5.6% (-9.2% organic) during the quarter. For the last twelve months, net sales increased by 3.7% organically and EBITA by 0.2% organically. Earnings per share increased to SEK 3.6 (2.9). Idun invested in the quarter in Barem. Interagro Skog, which was acquired at the end of 2024, contributed to the profit growth in the quarter.
